Hi Maria, just popped in to see how things are going with your Mom (and you) please drop me a line later when your not doing anything and let me know how things are going. I have been reading a bit about this cancer to refresh my memory and Maria I know/think your Mom will pull through this, Colon cancer is a very common cancer and very curable and also controllable I do hope they caught it on time. Also the meds that I am testing in Oshawa its called Xeloda and they are also testing it for colon cancer-it could be that you have had other therapies and tried other ways first to control the cancer then if they can't they go onto these trial meds to get the spots the protocols they are told to use aren't working just for you, because there are no two people alike, and just cause it works for one doesn't mean its gonna work for everyone, this is the tricky part of the whole disease, it's so unpredictable one day you think everything is fine and the next your waiting to be admitted to hospital and you didn't do a thing. Anyways Maria I am rambling and I DON'T mean to do that. I will drop you a line later or maybe see you on the messenger and catch up a little with you - I know you must be really busy with the baby and I know you are very busy also, so please when ever you have time. thanks MARIA and ttyl. your friend always cherl. ^j^^j^

Hi Maria, How are you doing? I see you are going to the hospital, please let me know how your mom is doing? I also want to know how you are holding out, I know how hard this must be on your family. Just hang in there and never ever give up on HOPE. There is always HOPE even when there is nothing else to go on. Hope will keep you going. How is the baby doing? It's real good to have her around now I'll bet to keep your mind occupied. Maria I will pray for your Mom and your family and you take good care of yourself or you will be of no use to anyone else. You know what I mean, don't forget about number one Maria. YOU!! I would have got to you sooner but I myself have been on the sick list again, my ankles and legs and everything for that matter has swelled up on me again. I have to call Oshawa tomorrow to see what I should do about it. They might have to take me off the chemo I am on and I don't want them to cause its working and it's taken the cancer off my liver again and I was so happy about that, also my tumour markers have gone way done and they haven't gone down for over a year. I have been on the chemo for more than a year now, actually since July 08 and I am very tired of it. I wish I was finished again. It just drags me right out and I have a feeling they are gonna admit me again when they have a look at my vitals I know I have a virus and that's enough for them to put me in. Anyways Maria, please give me a quick message when you return from the hospital and let me know how things are, I would really appreciate it. thanks Maria and you hang in there. bye for now, your friend always cherl.
